Our channel now has Valiant VJ bucket seat trim installation videos uploaded! Yay!
The VJ filming was done during the NZ summer of 2025, but the voice-over was taking a while to get to a satisfactory result hence the delay.
We uploaded the first VH videos in the NZ winter of 2025.
After many installs of Charger seats over the years, we had finally decided to get our act together and make instructional videos to show how we install our own VH seat skins and foam.

In the past few years, a few customers had asked us how they could install seat skins themselves. This is not a job for the faint-hearted, so we don’t normally recommend unless:
– you have installed seat skins before
– you are keen to learn and don’t mind making a few (inexpensive) mistakes
– you are physically up to the task as it is straining on the hands / arms and most of the time it is a full body work out
The reasons that we have decided to finally put the videos out:
– the few customers that we helped with our instructions had a great result. We used to give out written and pictorial instructions by email when requested; this was time consuming and sometimes could still be very confusing.
– More bang for your buck. Put extra $$$ towards your engine build, bling wheels, or whatever you fancy 🙂
– even if you’re not keen to install yourself, the videos showcase what we do and how we do it. This could be helpful if you’re relying on a friend / local trimmer who may be installing Charger seats for the first time.
Note: Anybody is welcome to use these videos, intended as free advice, not absolute, inflexible steps or instructions. We’re always interested in more effective ways of achieving great results when completing projects. If you would like to give any feedback or want to ask any questions feel free to leave them on our channel, or get in touch with us directly.
